Gong Hei Fat Choy! Happy Chinese New Year the Year of the Tiger.

This week at Pre-School the children have been celebrating Chinese New Year. We have been discussing the celebration during our circle times and learning more about Chinese culture.

We decorated lanterns and made Chinese dragons and tiger masks in celebration of the special festival. The children enjoyed exploring noodles and stir fried vegetables in the tuff trays too, chopping, scooping and mixing!

Our cooking recipe this week was vegetable spring rolls. They smelt delicious!

Bumbles class enjoyed another energetic football session with Laurence from Super Star Sports on Tuesday and the Honeys class were moooooing on Thursday afternoon with Farmer Laura and Maggie Moo for another fun session of Moo Music!

Our colour and shape for next week is red and heart and the Bumbles class will be looking at the story Jack and the Beanstalk.
