Weekly Roundup 29 November 2024

We have been learning about Thanksgiving and Road safety this week, playing a traffic light game, looking at road signs, observing zebra crossings and talking about what we can do to keep safe, for example holding on to our parents or carers hands.

There has been a petition to install a signalised crossing outside our Preschool and Perryfields Infant and Junior school on Lawn Lane. I'm aware our families use this crossing regularly and will include the link below -

We are excited to celebrate Christmas here at Springfield Bees. We have lots of fun and festive activities planned to make this time of year extra special for the children, singing christmas songs, meeting our elves Twinkle and Sparkle who will be playing hide and seek. and meeting Father Christmas.

Our Christmas party for both Honey’s and Bumbles children will be on Friday 13th December - we invite all children to our party, if your child doesn’t usually attend this session please bring your child into preschool at 9.00am and collect at 12.00pm, we will be providing a party lunch for the children.

Next week is Sports and Active week. This special week is all about encouraging physical activity, teamwork and fun. Our goal is to help children develop a love for movement and exercise while learning about different sports and the importance of staying active. Throughout the week, the children will have the opportunity to participate in various fun sports activities, including ball games, obstacle courses, yoga and group games such as “Simon says” and “Freeze dance”.

Have a lovely weekend, we look forward to seeing you all again next week.
