We have had a very active week, enjoying participating in different activities such as Yoga, Dancing, moving our bodies in different ways through tunnels and parachutes, and playing games such as what’s the time Mr Wolf.
We have been busily creating festive crafts and the children are looking forward to sharing these with you and will be bringing these home next week. Children’s craft activities are a wonderful way to spark creativity and encourage self-expression. We have spoken about St Nicholas Day which is 6th December. Rooted in European tradition, children receive treats. The day's history links to gift-giving, evolving into the modern Santa Claus figure.
Next week our book of the week is the Elves and the Shoemaker, learning about and celebrating Hanukkah and continuing with our festive cheer including celebrating with our Christmas Party, we look forward to welcoming Father Christmas.
Next Friday 13th December is our Christmas party, we are welcoming all children to come in on Friday morning from 9.00-12.00pm, we will be providing a party style lunch for the children so please do not worry about sending in lunch on this day.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend
