We’ve had such a lovely start to the new term at Pre-School following the Easter break. The children have settled back in beautifully, and there’s been a real buzz of excitement around our new topic—mini-beasts!
Over the past week, we’ve enjoyed reading Spinderella and Superworm, which have inspired lots of creative and hands-on activities. The children have been making their own ladybirds, carefully choosing how many spots to give them, and have taken part in a mini-beast hunt—naming the bugs they discovered and using magnifying glasses to take a closer look. They’ve also explored the different prints that mini-beasts make using playdough. It’s been a joy to see their curiosity and enthusiasm shine through.
We’re also starting to gently support those children who will be starting school in September. This term, we’ll be introducing fun activities to help with the transition—like practicing putting on school uniforms and looking at photos of their future schools. It’s such an exciting time for them, and we’re here to help every step of the way.
📸 Photographer Michelle Rees will be visiting on Wednesday 14th May, from 9.00am to 1.00pm. If your child doesn’t usually attend on this day but you’d like them to have their photo taken, please speak to Sophie to book a time slot.
🎓 Our Graduation Day will be held on Monday 21st July 2025—we’ll confirm the exact time nearer the date.
As always, thank you for your continued support. It’s a pleasure to share these special moments with your children.
