Weekly roundup - 28 March 2025

We have had an egg-cellent time celebrating Easter at Springfield Bees! Our little learners had so much fun participating in festive activities while exploring the joy and meaning of the season.
Easter Highlights:

  • Easter Egg Hunt: The children have been searching for colourful eggs and sharing their discoveries with friends.
  • Spring Crafts: We have creative making bunny ears and decorating eggs with bright, beautiful colours.
  • Special Easter Snack: Hot cross buns were popular!
  • Baking: Children in Honey’s have made Easter nests, and have been so excited to take these home to taste.

We have also been learning about Eid, with Ramadan coming to an end we wish all of you celebrating this weekend Eid Mubarak, enjoy spending time with your families and sharing meals!

We loved seeing the excitement on the children’s faces as they engaged in these activities.

Suggestions for the Easter holidays:

  • Visit the library and share a story
  • Cooking/Baking
  • Visiting a local park with a picnic
  • Plant some seeds
  • Visit the park – making a scavenger hunt to follow
  • Spring nature walk - Making your own craft using resources from the local area, grass/daisy’s/buttercups etc

Have a wonderful break, we look forward to seeing you upon our return on Tuesday 22nd April 2025.
