It has been another fun week at preschool! Our theme has been transport and travel.

✈️ The children have enjoyed exploring different ways we get around. We’ve used a variety of transport in small world play and talked about how we travel to preschool or to the shops - some of us walk, some take the bus, and some travel by car. We also played transport sound- guessing games, used junk-modelling to create vehicles, made marks by drawing with cars, explored number cars to help us begin letter and number formation, and enjoyed using diggers in the sand.

We took part in transport yoga, where the children used their bodies to become planes, cars, boats, and trains — a fun way to build balance, coordination and imagination!

🍂 We have certainly felt the change in seasons this week. We go outside every session, please make sure your child comes in with suitable warm clothing - a winter coat, hat, gloves, and a scarf if needed.

🎄 Christmas Party

Our Christmas party for both Honey’s and Bumbles children will be on Wednesday 17th December. We invite all children to attend. If your child does not usually come on this day, please bring them into preschool at 9.00am and collect them at 12.00pm. We will be providing a party lunch for all children to enjoy.

🔔 Reminders

Please bring in any children’s coats that you no longer need. We are collecting them for the Chelmer Bridge Rotary Club, and all donations are very appreciated.
