Weekly roundup 19 November 21

This week at Pre-School the children have been discussing different feelings and emotions that we can experience.

We discussed how different emotions can make us feel, and what can make us feel this way. We've participated in lots of 'keeping healthy activities' too, washing the babies and 'brushing teeth' at the water table and discussing healthy eating during our snack times.

We've enjoyed accessing different types of technology this week, with the children using the vtech laptops, learning how to use the wind-up torches, exploring numbers on the calculators and using the stop watches.

Our cooking activity this week was banana muffins, again, with the children fully involved with the weighing and mixing of the ingredients and filling the cases before putting them into the oven to bake.

The Honeys class have been exploring the story 'We're going on a bear hunt'. The children painted some fantastic bear masks and showed off their great flexibility, doing a bear hunt yoga session!

Both classes celebrated Children in Need today! The children arrived to a sensory and tactile 'Pudsey Bear' in the tuff trays this morning and we've enjoyed Pudsey Bear mask making and colouring during the sessions today.

We hope you all have a restful weekend and we look forward to seeing you all again next week.

Our colour and shape for next week will be brown and heart.
