Another week completed at Pre-School and another week closer to the very exciting upcoming festivities!
This week in the Bumbles class, the children have been enjoying a variety of different activities prompting their mathematical thinking. We've been busy number ordering, using the large scales to measure in the sand, mixing and measuring ingredients to make our own playdough as well as working on our number recognition during circle time and using our fingers to represent 'how many!'.
We enjoyed our very own puppet show this week too...which proved a very popular activity, with the children all participating and wanting to join in the fun!
Pitta pizzas was our cooking recipe this week. The children were kept busy working their fine motor skills, spreading on the tomato sauce and picking and chopping their pizza toppings!
The Honeys class have been super organised this week by getting started with their Christmas crafts! The children will be making lots of fun and festive crafts over the next few weeks which they will be bringing home with them in their own Christmas folder during our last week of term.
Moo Music had a very wintery feel this week, with the children donning masks and flapping their wings, making fantastic baby penguins!
Even though the temperature has most certainly dropped this week, we will still be wrapping up and enjoying the (very) fresh air during our morning and afternoon sessions, so please ensure your child brings in with them to Pre-School a warm coat and hat. Again can we ask that all items brought in are named. We thank you in advance.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend and we'll see you all again next week! Our colour and shape for next week is pink and crescent.
