Weekly Roundup 19 July 2024

Dear families

Our final day of the academic year is here and for some, it's their last at Pre-School. We've had the most wonderful day in the sunshine having a picnic after the graduation, followed by Moo Music. It has been a lovely way to end the year and celebrate the children who have been at Springfield Bees. Having the parents, children and staff together has been enjoyed by all.

We'd like to thank everyone for their very kind and generous gifts which have been greatly appreciated by the staff. We've received so many flowers, chocolates, candles and other personal gifts that are so thoughtful. We love what we do and it's been a pleasure to have looked after your precious children!

The Honey's children have been very fortunate to be in the air conditioned rooms this week, particularly this afternoon as the temperature reached 30 degrees! They also enjoyed milk ice-creams and fruit lollies for their afternoon snack as a special treat.

Miss Winstone from the Boswells school has shared the video from the dance sessions that took place a few weeks ago so be sure to click the following link to see some of the children performing their routine dressed as superheroes - https://youtu.be/VWnSmcE95cc?feature=shared.

Our return date for the new term is Tuesday 3rd September. Please remember to bring in a pair of named wellies for your child as they are likely to have grown out of their current ones (these should have now all gone home!).

Do check your invoice for the date when payment for fees and snack is due and be reminded that any late payments will incur a fine and may result in your child's place being unavailable in September.

Today was also Karishma's last before starting maternity leave. She is due to have her baby in three weeks time and we know she'll make the most wonderful Mummy! We can't wait to meet her little one and would like to thank her for managing to keep the Honey's room so organised and fun! Hopefully she'll return and it won't be too long before she's back in action in the Honeys!

Have a lovely summer and for those that are leaving for school, we wish you all the best for your future learning!

From all of the staff at Springfield Bees.
