Trains, planes and automobiles have continued to be explored this week and the children have listened to some new songs about transport.
They have designed and built their own train sets, listened to more sounds of various vehicles and talked about how they get around.
Discussions at circle time focused on the type of road signs that we come across and what they mean. We used our road safety resources which are always popular with the children and they were keen to be in charge and help each other navigate their way around. On Friday, we learned about Pudsey bear and how the Children In Need charity supports many children and families in need of help.
There were lots of ideas about how we help others and how they help us. For more information about Children In Need visit www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk
Next week we'll be learning about staying active and having more physical activity sessions than usual. We're also urging everyone to complete their activity trackers daily and return them to Pre-School for the chance of winning a prize!
Don't forget, our Welly Walk is at Pollards Meadow tomorrow at 10.00am so do come and join us for an informal walk about and chat with a (wet) activity!
