We’ve had another exciting week at preschool, full of learning, discovery, and fun!
We were lucky enough to welcome in the Year 6 Perryfield’s students (some previous little Bee’s and some of our children’s siblings) to read with us throughout the week, this is so valuable for both our children and the students - a huge thank you from us all!
It has been truly magical to watch our caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies under the children’s careful observation. This week, we set them free and watched them fly high into the sky – a special moment for everyone!
Our space theme has taken us on an intergalactic journey! The children have:
We also had a Moon Dough Disco – a fun activity that not only sparked imagination but also helped build those all-important fine motor skills!
The role play vets corner has been very popular this week. It’s lovely to see the children working together, caring for their toy animals, and using their imaginations.
We’ve been having thoughtful discussions about different types of homes – houses, flats, caravans – and the many ways families can look. We talked about families with two mums or two dads, grandparents who live with us, and even pets as part of our family.
We’re excited to celebrate our children who will be heading off to school in September! Our graduation will take place on Monday 21st July.
Parents of children in Bumble Room – please keep an eye out for an email next week with more details.
As the sunny weather continues, please remember to send a sun hat in for your child. Hats should be placed in your child’s tray – this makes getting ready for outdoor play much quicker and easier.
