Weekly roundup - 11 March 22

Another fun and fabulous week has been had at Pre-School!

The Bumbles class have enjoyed exploring the story The Gruffalo, making Gruffalo crumble in the tuff tray, Gruffalo hats and paper plate snakes! The children have enjoyed discussing the story during our circle time too, we spoke about the different characters and who our favourites were!

We made cheese straw snakes during our cooking session... Just like the sneaky snake in the story!

Pre-School marked a very important day on Tuesday, International Women's Day, making craft flowers for the special ladies in our lives!

The Honeys class have enjoyed using their feet to paint this week! With lots of giggles being heard, the children described the experience as 'tickly!'. Lots of different role play was explored too, from building and construction, to cooking and cleaning at home and even creating their own Pre-School!

The Superstar Sports coaches were back on Tuesday with more fun games for the children to play, and Farmer Laura held another 'sing-tastic' Moo Music session on Thursday.
We also just wanted to mention how grown up and well behaved the children were this morning during our practice fire drill. They listened fantastically, following all the instructions given by the adults and were complete super stars! Well done Springfield Bees!

Our colour and shape for next week is green and crescent and the Bumbles class will be sharing the story 'The Tiger Who Came To Tea'. We hope you all have a great weekend and we will see you all again next week!
