What busy bees the children have been at Pre-School this week! We enjoyed celebrating Pancake Day on Tuesday, with the children engaging in lots of discussion about how pancakes are made and their favourite toppings! Snack time was very popular, with the children choosing what toppings to add to their delicious pancakes! St David's Day got us all talking about Spring time, with the children creating some beautiful observational paintings of daffodils in celebration of this special day.
On Thursday we saw lots of famous book characters arrive at Pre-School! We celebrated World Book Day sharing lots of stories together and it was wonderful to see so many of the children turning up in costume!
We've also enjoyed cooking Pitta Pizzas this week, choosing our favourite toppings to add on to our own pitta pizza base!
Our super listening skills were put to the test during our Superstar Sports session on Tuesday, with the children having to follow directional clues as part of the games, and there was lots of singing and signing on Thursday for a fun book themed Moo Music session!
Our colour and shape for next week will be pink and octagon, and the Bumbles will be exploring the story, The Gruffalo!
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend, see you all next week!
