This week we have been focusing on our topic of ‘The Farm’. We have been enjoying the story What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson, and we were very grateful to a child who brought in What the Ladybird Heard Next to share with the group.
The children have taken part in a range of fun activities, including playing farm bingo, creating a farm collage, and printing their own chicks. It has been lovely to see their creativity and engagement!
On Wednesday, we also celebrated World Wish Day, where the children shared some wonderful wishes, including:
“I wish for a baby brother/sister,”
“I wish for a million bucks,”
“I wish for a star to give me more wishes.”
We are pleased to announce that Sunita is now the Bumbles Room Leader. Please join us in congratulating her on her new role!
As the weather is getting warmer, please ensure that suncream is applied to your child before their preschool session, where necessary. We have also attached a helpful poster in our gallery with further guidance.

Next week, we will be continuing with our Farm topic, exploring different types of farms.
We would love to welcome visitors in the coming weeks to talk to our Bumbles class about their job. If you would like to come in, please let Sophie or Viktoria know.
Please note we are closed on Monday 4th May due to the bank holiday.
🌼 Wishing you all a wonderful bank holiday weekend!
