What a lovely sunny Friday to wrap up another great week at Pre-School!
On Monday, we learnt about the celebration Eid, with Rima kindly sharing her own experiences from the weekend with the children, bringing in some traditional dress and photographs for the children to look at and some tasty Indian treats for them to try at snack time. Eid Mubarak!
Also this week in the Bumbles class, the children have enjoyed listening to the story Sharing a Shell. We made character puppets from the story to help support our understanding, painted fish, explored in the sand and water and even had discussions at circle time about how we can help keep our oceans and beaches clean and why it is important.
More ball skills were learnt on Tuesday with the Super-Star sports team and the children enjoyed icing biscuits for their cooking activity this week too.
The Honeys class have enjoyed lots of game playing, developing their turn taking skills, tower building, water play and story sharing! Moo Music was lots of fun as always on Thursday afternoon too.
On Thursday we had our Pre-School photographer come into class. All the children behaved exceptionally well and had superstar smiles for the camera!
This week we waved farewell to Debbie P, who leaves us to start her maternity leave. We wish Debbie the best of luck and we all look forward to hearing the exciting news of baby’s arrival in the next few weeks!
Can we please remind you all as the weather is getting warmer, that your child brings in a named sun hat to Pre-School with them and that sun-cream is applied before they arrive. Thankyou.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and we’ll see you all again next week!
Our colour and shape for next week is orange and semi circle.
