Weekly Round Up - 13 May 22

Lots of fun has been had at Pre-School this week, from painting to construction, bubble chasing to sandwich making, the children have certainly been very busy!

The Bumbles class have enjoyed looking at the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt!'. We painted bear caves, enjoyed story sequencing and explored the tuff tray, which was filled with some of the natural resources named in the story.

We have also enjoyed lots of focused group activities this week, board games, team work construction and story sharing just to name a few.

We were very lucky to have one of our very lovely mums, Emma, come in to hold a session with the children on Monday. Emma took the children's imagination to the circus, building Big Tops and role playing the different characters you would find there! The children thoroughly enjoyed the morning and we would like to say another big thankyou to Emma for coming in!

The Honeys class have been taking great care of our Pre-School caterpillars, looking at and discussing the changes that are occurring now they have moved into their cocoons!

Some of Honeys children have also enjoyed some transition sessions in the Bumble's class this week in preparation for their move in September. The Bumbles were great role models, showing the younger children around the class and sharing their toys. We look forward to some more transition sessions over the next few weeks.

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and we'll see you all again next week. Our colour and shape will be black and hexagon.
