At last the sunshine has appeared and we haven't wasted one minute of it at Pre-School!
The children have enjoyed lots of outside play and exploring this week and we've even been enjoying our picnic snack outside on the field.
As it's the last week before our break, the children have been leading the activities and focus... The Bumble’s class have enjoyed sensory play with gloop and foam sand painting. We've been taste testing different foods which has been lots of fun and we've also started talking about going to school with the children enjoying trying on school uniform and role playing 'Teachers'. Large construction has also been a popular choice this week, with the children working together to make a boat and a bird watching house!
The Honey's class have enjoyed making mung bean salad for snack this week and parachute play was a big hit during their Moo Music sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, with the children working together to lift the parachute up and down! We heard lots of laughter and saw lots of smiling faces! They have also enjoyed extracting bears from the ice using their tools, making porridge gloop and exploring shapes through craft!
We hope you all have a lovely and well earnt break next week....The forecasted weather looks warm and bright, perfect for a half term! We look forward to seeing you all on our return on Monday 7th June!
