Weekly Round Up - 25 March 2022

The glorious sunshine has been well received this week at Pre-School, with the children not wasting a moment in getting outside and enjoying the great weather!

We've enjoyed gardening, bird spotting with the binoculars, 'What's the time Mr Wolf!?' and we've even enjoyed having our afternoon snack on the field. Long may the sunshine last!

The Bumbles class have been exploring the story Supertato too this week, taking part in lots of fun activities linked with the story. We made our own 'Super Vegetable' crafts, 'excavated' the 'evil peas' from ice, explored real vegetables in the tuff tray and home corner and we even made our own Supertato puppets to retell the story!

We've also been discussing the very important upcoming celebration on Sunday, Mother's Day, with the children busy crafting cards and wrapping gifts for their mummies.

The Honeys have been exploring the world this week! On Wednesday, the children marked 'World Meteorological Day', discussing space and the different planets with conversations and interest moving to 'Why is our planet blue and green?'
The children had to work hard at the water table too, removing all the plastic to make it safer for the sea animals! They've also been busy crafting for Mother's Day and getting green fingered potting Primroses as a special gift for their Mummies!

As always, the children enjoyed this week's enrichment sessions, Moo Music and Superstar Sports, and mini carrot cakes was our cooking recipe this week!

We hope you all enjoy the sunshine this weekend and to all our fabulous mums and nans, Happy Mother's Day!

Our colour and shape for next week is blue and pentagon and the Bumbles class will be exploring the story Superworm!
