Is it really the weekend already?!
Another busy and fun week completed at Pre-School!
With lots of the Bumble's class children having their first school visit this week, we've been having lots of discussion together about starting school. The children have all been eager and excited to share with one another their experiences of their visits.
We've been discussing school uniform, their new class teachers and about all the fun and exciting things they will do when they start school!
We were very lucky this week to have Darcy from Superstar Sports come into Pre-School to teach the children some football skills. Both Bumbles and Honeys were exceptionally well behaved during the football sessions, showing off their great listening abilities and concentration as well as some super ball skills!
Well done everyone!
Banana yogurt pops was our cooking recipe this week, with the children enjoying dipping their banana in the yogurt and rolling in the sprinkles! Healthy and delicious!
The Honeys class have been sharing together the story 'Supertato'. They've enjoyed exploring vegetables (featured in the Supertato story) in the tuff tray 'chopping, scooping and pouring', making their own 'Supertato' characters during their craft sessions and they even made their own healthy salad for snack. There has been lots of conversation about healthy eating with fun craft activities and visuals to help support with their understanding.
Next week our colour and shape will be blue and star, the Honeys class will be looking at the story 'Sharing a Shell'. Have a lovely weekend everyone and we'll see you all again next week!
