Weekly Roundup 3 July 2026

We have had a lovely week exploring our theme “Our Wonderful World and Holidays.” The children have really enjoyed talking about their experiences and learning about different places.

🍦 On Wednesday, we made our own snack - ice cream! Before we got started, we created a tally chart during circle time to find out everyone’s favourite flavours. The children then had lots of fun making and, of course, tasting their delicious creations!

🏖️ We have also been busy with sand and water play, using our imaginations to make pretend ice creams. It has been wonderful to see the children working together and being creative.

🧁 Our beach-themed playdough has been very popular too, with lots of lovely creations inspired by seaside adventures.

💬 During circle time, we spoke about holidays and shared where we like to go. It has been a great opportunity for the children to build confidence and develop their communication skills.

🎓 Information

Bumbles Graduation Ceremony and picnic will take place on Thursday 16th July, starting at 11am. Children are welcome to arrive from 9am, and we kindly ask parents to return at 11am for the celebration. Please bring along a picnic and a picnic blanket.

📅 Please note that our last day of term for children is Thursday 16th July.

🧥 Please check the lost property next week, as we have lots of items we would love to reunite with their owners.
