Weekly roundup 26 March 2026

This week we have been focusing on our topic of Easter.

We were delighted to welcome James M’s parents into the setting to share the Easter story with the Bumbles children. Afterwards, the children took part in an Easter egg hunt, successfully finding all six coloured eggs - such a fun activity for everyone involved. Thank you so much for coming in!

Throughout the week, we have also been planting sunflowers. We would love for you to share your progress with us over the coming months as they grow.

The children have been busy exploring a range of craft activities too - there have certainly been feathers flying!

We are currently looking for new members to join our Preschool Committee, as some of our existing members will be stepping down in the near future.

Our committee plays a vital role in supporting the running and development of the preschool. It is a great opportunity to be involved in your child’s early education and to help shape the future of our setting.

We meet once a term to discuss important aspects of the preschool, including finances, resources, events, and general updates. Meetings are friendly and provide a chance to share ideas and have a voice in how the preschool is run.

No previous experience is necessary—just a willingness to get involved and support the preschool community.

If you are interested in joining or would like to find out more, please speak to a member of staff, email us, or complete the attached forms and return them after the break.

Please find below some ideas for activities over the Easter holidays:

Thursday 9th April – Let’s Get Growing

Throughout the holidays – Play in the Park

You could also enjoy:

  • Baking together and making your own snacks or meals
