What a wonderful week we’ve had!
⭐ We’ve been celebrating the Diwali festival. Sunita and Karishma kindly showed us their beautiful saris and shared how special this festival is to them. The children learned about Diwali traditions, including how families decorate their homes and create colourful rangoli patterns. During the week, the children also made their own Diwa lamps, which they were very proud of!
We also enjoyed celebrating Halloween this week. On Wednesday, we had a fabulous themed day filled with exciting activities, including pumpkin carving and creative crafts. The children even made spooky pizzas, trying new foods such as green peppers and olives — a big hit with everyone!
Our book of the week has been The Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson. The children have loved exploring this rhyming story and joining in with the repeated phrases throughout the book.
This week we took the generous donations collected during our Harvest Festival to the Sanctus Homeless Charity. They were incredibly grateful and asked us to pass on their thanks for your kindness and support.
After half term, starting Monday 3rd November, we will be selling poppies for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal at the front desk. Suggested donations are 50p.
We are closed tomorrow for half term and will return on Monday 3rd November.
👜 Just a little reminder to check your children’s bags regularly and ensure they have a spare set of clothes, baby wipes, and nappy sacks each day — thank you for your continued support!
