What a week for the final days of term! 

We'd like to thank you for your patience and understanding after the difficulties with the boiler this week. With the arrival of the snow and the fun it brought we had to welcome the children into Pre-School with a difference. The Bumbles room was out of bounds due to the cold temperatures but Perryfields Infant School came to the rescue and kindly allowed us the use of their classrooms. This meant the children were still able to take part in planned activities and learning opportunities. The Honeys room was nice and warm so during the afternoons the children spent some time together, listening to the nativity story and learning about Hanukkah.

Both rooms have unsurprisingly been excited about the anticipation of Christmas and having fun in the snow. Some of them put on wet suits over their winter clothing and went outside to explore the snowy covered fields to build snowmen and make snowballs. It was an experience which filled the children with awe and wonder and for some, the first time they have encountered snow.

We have all said goodbye to Maxine and Alessia and wish them well in their new jobs. Anna will be continuing to work with us for the next couple of terms and Crystal will be rejoining us on a Monday after the New Year. 

We'd like to thank all of you for the kind words, cards and gifts that have been brought in for the staff. We are overwhelmed by your generosity which means so much.
