In Bumbles this week we have been getting to know each other. During circle time we discussed our homes, who we live with and our pets. We then went on to draw pictures of our homes using shapes, the people that we live with and made paper plate self-portraits.
We have been challenging our physical development on the climbing frame and by making 'tea' at the water table. Whilst outside we have been looking at the trees and noticing how their leave are changing colours and falling from the branches.
In Honeys we have also been busy getting to know each other and the Pre-school routine. We have especially enjoyed exploring the water, using jugs and cups for pouring. We have also been using the animals throughout our play; in the sand, the flour dough, the doll's house and even on the slide!
During our circle time, we have started to introduce our Golden Rules. These are rules children at Springfield Bees decided set a good standard for a happy and healthy place to play and learn: I walk, I listen, I have kind hands and feet, I share, I tidy up.
