Weekly Round Up - 16 July

It's been another fun packed week at Pre-School....and for our Bumbles, their last full week before they leave us and begin their next journey to 'big school'.

This afternoon we held one half of our graduation ceremonies, with the children receiving their graduation certificate and 'leavers pack' (second half will be held on Tuesday), a wonderful way to end the week in celebration!

We've enjoyed lots of imaginative play too this week, social snack times, craft and music! We even enjoyed a nature walk together, looking and listening to our surroundings, exploring and investigating the environment! We made friendship bracelets, sponge painted and played a Bumble’s favourite, 'Duck, Duck Goose!

Banana and Pineapple smoothies were made during our cooking sessions, chopping and slicing fruit before adding to the blender and pouring into cups. Delicious!

The Honeys class enjoyed visiting the Bumbles class this week as part of their transition to the Pre-School room in September. They all enjoyed playing in the 'big' room and meeting their new key worker and other Bumble’s class teachers.

There's been lots of discussion too at circle time about all the fun and exciting things they will do when they move up into Bumbles class!

Craft activities have included making crabs and bumble bees, getting hands on with messy spaghetti play in the tuff trays and lots of inventing and imaginative play crafting with the junk modelling! They even enjoyed a spontaneous music session outside, with the children leading and performing some wonderful songs!

***We have accumulated a few items of lost property over the past term. We will be putting these items outside the main entrance next week, please can we ask that you check and reclaim anything that belongs to your child. Thank you***

We look forward to seeing everyone again next week for our final few days of term! We hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
