Weekly roundup 25 March 2021

It’s been a busy last week of term with the children all excited for Easter! To enhance their understanding of Easter we were lucky enough to have one of our parents join us to build an ‘Easter garden’. Pastor Jimmie Massey from the Danbury Missionary helped the children to build a ‘garden’ using stones, moss and flowers whilst telling the Easter story. Visuals are a fantastic way of helping children to remember and understand what they are being told.

Of course there was talk of chocolate eggs and surprises too! Don’t forget to check out our YouTube channel where Jenny has been busy with her Makaton videos. Please show your children and see if you can have a go at Jenny’s latest signs. We are back on Monday 12th April and hope you all have a lovely break.
