Weekly Round Up - 13 & 20 March

Welcome to a late issue of the Round Up - apologies for the delay in sending this but as you can imagine, things have been rather hectic in these unprecedented times.

The week before last the children talked about Holi-the Hindu Festival of Colours which is a celebration of the beginning of spring as well as the triumph of good over evil.

There were quite a few activities taking place that embraced the coming of Spring and of course, Mother’s Day. Hopefully all of the children managed to take their cards and gifts home before we finished on Friday.

It is with much sadness that the Pre-School is closing due to the Coronavirus outbreak but we understand the crucial importance of minimising the spread of the virus.

All parents have been contacted regarding children of Key Workers and the provision available through the local authority.

All staff are able to support their Key Children’s learning at home and are putting together plans to do this over the coming weeks.

Parents and carers looking for ways to ensure the continuity of education during all school closures can access Twinkl who are offering every parent in England access to all Twinkl resources with a One Month Ultimate Membership, totally free of charge.

Setting this up is really easy to do - go to www.twinkl.co.uk/offer and enter the code UKTWINKLHELPS.

We’ll be in touch with more information about home learning soon but in the meantime thank you all for your support and please take care and stay safe.
