It is important that we start brushing our children's teeth from when their first milk tooth appears, a regular teeth cleaning routine is essential for good dental health. Every child who has teeth is at risk of tooth decay, but the risk increases for children who's diet has a high consumption of sugar or is less likely to be brushing their teeth twice daily with fluoride toothpaste.
The Community Dental Services (CDS) have put together some top tips for teeth brushing, there is also further advice on how to look after your child oral hygiene on the NHS website.
